Severside mod and dedicated server.
Hi all.
Somethings i would like to play riffle only on my dedicated server (linux) . I have the pk3 mod and everything . To change from all guns to riffleonly mod , the only way i have find is to acces the ftp , upload the pk3 in the root and than ask rcon QUIT . The script of my hoster , relaod the server and riffleonly mod is load. There is a way to do the same job but with the command : rcon exec riffleonly.cfg ? Its very annoying to go in ftp and change some file , reset the server (lost all players) . Maybe there a command i can add in the cfg to IGNORE SOME PK3 from loading or ask to load some pk3 on an other directory than root ? thanks for the help.[/quote] |
I might be wrong on this, so someone correct me if I am.
Once a PK3 is loaded, it cannot be unloaded, without the game/server being shut down. The same goes for loading the game without the file; as you probably already know, it cannot be dumped into the game AFTER MOH has already booted. I don't believe you could toggle the file on/off like say, FF can toggle on/off. Your best bet is to do what we did on the AA.COM server; just rename the file extension from .PK3 to something un-readable by MOH, like .OLD. |
