Look, everyone knows that dedicated servers are better, that high CPU's are better. But clearly these non-dedicated servers and low CPU servers are not exclusive to MOH, I think it can be fairly assumed that they are spread equally throughout the multi-player universe.

So assuming that MOH does not have more crummy servers than games such as CS and RTCW and Quake and Unreal, why is lag more of a problem here than elsewhere?

This needs to be addressed. Why? Because this is, in my humble opinion, the BEST MULTIPLAYER GAME EVER. But is has LOUSY LAG PROBLEMS WHICH WILL SINK IT IF NOT ADDRESSED!!!

People like Quiet, who pretend such problems do not exist, are doing a disservice to the game, because the problems are real, and if not addressed, will kill this great game.

it is because of the people who do not run dedicated servers. I was just in a good server with more than 20 people and i had a 60 ping with no lag. and the lag being more in this game than in others is probably because its more demanding. A lot of people are playing

Yes I agree. I am a 56K and most my games I have a ping under 200

Why would you assume that the quality of servers for the this demo is as good as Cstrike and RTCW? Wait for the real version and real servers before you judge the netcode. You cant expect a nondedicated server to handle more than a few players.
