SV_PURE?
 

Well, doesn't anyone see a problem with this SV_PURE thing?
This whole site is based on mods. I find it odd to see an anti-mod post on a mod-site...

I don't cheat, but I do use Zagash Sniper Precision scopes, and just because i have a custom scope, SV_PURE will not allow me to play in whatever servers are running it? Holy hannah. I got Zagash scopes FROM this site, and now this site is showing how servers can make people not use mods...

umm it's kind of in the patch and server admins can run their servers how they please. it's THEIR SERVER.

pluss even with no mods i can't get on a sv_pure server so it's screwed anyway. but if it stops all cheats (which apparently it don't) i'll go back to stock.

So is the sv_pure supposed to be for MOHAA or for Spearhead?

spearhead of course. why would ea support mohaa when they could make you buy spearhead to get it?

Everyone who purchased Spearhead owns mohaa. They could at least make an effort to fix the half that works. Sad.

as long as the server has blood, skin, map or gameplay mods on you can use them when sv_pure is enabled ( when they fix it )

( think you'll see sv_pure on mainly for tournaments and not regular servers, unless a server gets a lot of *-holes.

All you need to do is request that admins who use SV_PURE to upload the skins that you want to use to their server.
