The gooddamn Germans keep on killing me in the mission called "Die Sturmgewehr-Starting" I make it past the sentry near the gate, the manned machine gun in both the tower and pillbox, and even the german officer after entering the fortress on the room in the right. The problem is when i put on the german's uniform the enemy thinks i am a fake and shoots me, i use only my silenced gun and holster it when i need to. And retrieved the papers also. I am growing madder just thinking about this!

you need to show your papers to the German guard. If you go further into the building, you'll have to kill a German general and take his papers to go further in the building. (This updates your security clearence) Don't forget to check your "Objectives" and use the compass to help you along.
