mohaa keeps crashing @ startup help =(
 

Hello
well as the topic sais my mohaa keeps crashing

i never had a problem with the game before
i did a format c
reinstalled everything and now it keeps crashing
when i start up u get that sorta console screen where u c all that text what pk3's its loading ect
after then
my mohaa starts up
and gets stuck right @ the start in a grey screen
this causes my whole pc to crash
im currently running
windows ME
my resolution of my desktop= 1024x768
but mohaa starts up with 800x600
i reinstalled the game like 5 times but it doesnt help
i downloaded the newest nvidia driver and dx9
i also tryd to put my desktop on 800x600 to check if thatwas the prob but it isnt
so
what it currently does it crash my whole pc when i run mohaa
i dont have any modifications pk3's or what ever added just a clean version with no mods
i also ran the configurate.exe file
but it still doesnt work
this all happend when i did a format c
can someone help me out

when i was running xp before i did a format c
everything was fine with dx9 and stuff
could it be that ME and DX9 dont mix up that good?
(im to lazy to instal. winxp now)

I know what probably happend, it happend to me when i changed my 3d cards, u gotta make sure you have the right opengl and other driver info and files inside your mohaa folder...as soon as i put the opengl files in my folder it worked, oh yeah and I also did what Bazooka joe said to do...check out his help page, and follow those steps, too...

Do you have any other OpenGL games? Jedi Outcast? BF1942? Quake 3? Try them and see if you have the same issue. What video card do you have?

sof2,global operations, bf1942 they all work fine
i have a gf4/mx460 every game runs fine excapt mohaa(and i dont have a warez version its legal)

how long have you had Win ME? when i first installed it, my MOHAA would freeze when trying to load OpenGL, even before i got to the main menu. i had to install new video/sound drivers to fix the problem.

Your running the same system as me pretty much windows me and geforce 4 mx, make sure you check your mohaa folder and make sure it has the following opengl files, once i put them in my mohaa when i was having problems everything worked fine!

The files to make sure that are in your MOHAA Folder are:
Opengl32.dll
nvopengl.dll

I found the nvopengl in my Geforce folder and just copied and pasted it into my Mohaa folder.

if what noctis is saying is true, its b/c all ur cheats on there, they fuck it up b/c they are stupid peices of shit

i always run 2 versions of mohaa
cheat and cheat free
i only have a clean one now
reinstalled it like 8 times now
and believe me there are no cheats in it idiot
if i say i reinstalled it many times and say i dont have any cheats in it a clean install.
then why the hell do u come with this crap ?
u shpould use ur eyes abit more
or are u wearing glasses that are to strong for u?
