Battlefield 1942

What do all yA'LL think about this game? Personally, I play it when I'm in the mood for high-fly over blowing up action. When I'm in the mood for upclose awesome snipin action, I do MOHAA.
What about ya'll

i played it for oh, a week before i became insanely bored of it

if i want high-fly over blowing up action and awesome sniping action i'll play OFP (which i frequently do)

whoever said you had to part with your money biggrin:

I like it even though I don't own a copy and I can ony play it at Interent Cafe computers cos mine isn't up to scratch.

One major problem....netcode. Also MOHAA has crappy netcode too. But not as bad as BF1942.

Must be a curse of EA Games

no im not lol
but everyone has its own opinion
i think bf42 owns mohaa bf42 is more of a chalandge to me
more fun for me i like to add more strategy to my gameplay and with mohaa
well its just shoot shoot like and idiot
im getting abit sick of standart first person shooters
thats why i like bf42 more
its just b/c i like tactical fps's

Grand Theft Auto 1942 (hehe) has no strategy involved whatsoever. One retard flies around and does kamikazee runs, while a guy in a jeep purposefully rams himself into a wall repeatedly. The shooting part is really stupid. Oh, and you can't forget the tanks that team kill you very easily. If FF is off, they make you fly then crater.

Alex

P.S, BF1942 SUCKS!!!

Innoxx 01-12-2003 01:48 PM

People people people, MOHAA and BF1942 equally suck anchovy cunt.

JowShmoe 01-12-2003 02:14 PM

i have it, but stopped playing after two weeks. it would be nice if there were better weapons, like the M1.

01-12-2003 06:34 PM

I still only have the demo,

my opinion is it can be a good game if you play with your clan or a bunch of good players you know and often play with. That way you can use strategy.

It's not much fun on public servers for various reasons including n00b flyers, kamikaze jeeps, people running the destroyer aground so you can't move it anymore, and everyone runs aroud like idiots and just try to be the first to grab a heavy vehicle.
