PLZ HELP!!!!! (.tik and .shader) on adding new file type
 

k umm i need to edit the tik and shaders of weapons and players, yunno so u can add like gas masks and stuff, or make guns auto if they semi auto? But my computer cant open tiks and shaders, it doesnt recognize them it says:
"Cannot open file, file does not have file extension to give it one go to my computer, and go to veiw, file types" i do this, then click the file types tab, i know u need to have these files open in notepad (.txt) or as word, i will just use notepad as i know the extension, and it is less hassle, but when i scroll thru the files, tik and shader rnt on the list to edit, so i click add a new file type, the obvios decision ( i think) now i get confused, it has all these boxews and junk, oh lord plz explain this to, me, im so confused

Hmm. The same problem again. Unles u cant add the file type try this:

Extract .tiks and .shaders u need to modify in a folder, open notepad, select open, select all files for filetypes and then just browse to ur tiks and shaders.

Adding a new filetype cant be that hard. What system do u have?

then i have pakscape and ZipGenius, thanx 4 the help, ill try ur idea for the second one, but one ?, how do u revert it back to a .tik so that mohaa will read it right, and im sure new file types rnt that hard, im just a dummy, i need moh modding 4 dummies

when you save the file select all file from the drop down and manually add

(file name).tik for tiki files
(File Name).shader for shader files.

k, uum but wont it still save it as
 

the file type i have selected from drop down? and just think i like the letters .tik at the end of my files? and again, adding file type help would be appreciated

when i say all files i mean the option in notepad, it *.* all files

it in the drop down on the save as dialog box,
