i dont know if if i translated it right but this is a assignment voor school and i mean al the official jadajdajadajdaj to be an american citizen..

umm come over here and get a visa for a limited time, or fill out shit loads of papers, and take some tests on our history and government to get citizenship, thats what my lebanese friend had to do biggrin:

I think it would be better to ask people who have gone through the process, becuase us "die hard" Americans were born here, thus we were citizens from birth.

look up the INS, they're the half-assed government people in charge of immigration and stuff.

I am one of those "Die Hard Americans" but what Id tell you is to do the research on your own. Maybe this is part of what your teacher is trying to get you to do. While this thread has gone offtopic there is still some good advice. One thing Ive learned here is if you post something be prepared for some rude responces, because they are plenty and free!

I was going to be moving to america to be with my girlfriend (until she passed away) anyway, i remember she said she thought i might have to take some sort of oath. and at the end of the oath is a bit about god. Now most americans beleive in god, whatever floats your boat, but if you want to extend your report you might like to research what athiests would have to say in the oath.
