man... help on manon skin
 

k, i NEED help, i made a manon skin, my first player skin., and it appears as this huge thing with no head, and its in b & w, so i go back, make some editations, c what i can fix, i c a couple things. I fix, i then go back to game. now my skin is invisible, on the skin select, but when i use force models everyone appears as rangers, huh? its a manon skin. so i mess w/ it, fix summore stuff, now its manon, except all black, w/ little thingys round the edges that change color, cool but not what i want (this what what happened at first, except huge and headless) plz tell me whats wrong, i can email it to u if u want.

ok you edited textures I'm thinking, you need a shader file. no head? check where it says the head type and shit in the .tik if there are // before it says it erase'em

and i changed pretty much everything, head to shoes, i have tik, and shader edited accordingly, ill check again... but... maybe if i gave u a copy...

check folders, then check if it says allied_(skinname). Shaders most be good.

Newt, you clearly know next to nothing about skinning, so don't waste his time.

Eh? eek: Dude just making simple for him. he said it was his first player skin, so just making it simple usually what i said is what skinner newbs get wrong.

Tabias i think i know what your problem is but it's very hard to wxplain, the size is because you need to add a scale line to the top of your tiki file, which usually hapens when you adding gear or changing a head ona skin.

the black is due to your shader file not pointing to the right folder posision for the tga file and so that would need to be altered but that like a 2 min job.

the force mods issue i have not seen before.
