OH god i need help,i cant connect through to any online games or internet explorer via aim"aol instant messenger"
I just got sbc yahoo dsl and does that have anything to do with it,PLEASE TELL ME .I need to know please!!!
Anyways i can config my pc?
Cause whenever i click connection manager"how you connect with dsl for sbc"
its goes through the connection till it says bleep bleep and pops up a little window in the right lower corner and says internet connection unavailable,please help ,DEAR GOD PLEASE.!!!

I'm a little confused. You're connecting to online games via AIM?

If you're using SBC Yahoo, then just bypass the connection manager by going directly through their Enternet 300 software. If you have XP then just make a connection through Network Connections(XP has it's pwn PPPoE adapters and doesn't need Enternet 300). A classmate of mine has SBC and he says the connection manager is a pain, so he doesn't use it. Hope this helps.

And I agree with several other people here. AOL itself is a lousy ISP. Never used them, never will.

has your account actually been activated. As if you can not access the internet at all them you probobly need to get your account activated.

I had it for a month and realized how much it sucked so i got cable. You get disconnected every 5 minutes.

SBC Yahoo sucks ass.

He's NOT using AOL, hes using Aol Instant Messenger to connect to their shitty online games - Spades, Hearts, etc.

Just use YAHOO's game server to play these games - they're better and alot less frustrating than AIM.

If you INSIST on using AIM, you might need to go into the settings and adjust some of those in there - I know there are a few DEFAULT settings in AIM that screw up connecting to other computers.

ok ,i am not using aim for crappy internet games like chess and crap,I`m a hardcore gamer here,now.
Heres what happens.
Now i cant get on aim,nor the internet explorer,but i can get on day of defeat not counter-strike,just dod,wierd why i cant connect to cs ....hmmm
and i can connect through to the msn messenger and msn explorer,its so wierd,should i do anything to the internet options ? cause my mom added like ...HOLY SHIT,it works for some reason!! OMG HOW WIERD IS THAT.LOL
I just went to check and see what my mom added,and ie works same with aim,LMAO
