Allied Assault 2 ?

Once again with the news... I was reading VE3D.com and found out this little bit of info:

While I was browsing EBGames, I noticed that EA will be releasing Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Platinum Edition next month and included in the description of the game was this little bit of news.

Bonus CD with a behind-the-scenes look at development of the next Medal of Honor title.

Not exactly an earth shocking revelation since Allied Assault sold very well but if we see some info on a sequel this early and who will be handling it since 2015 seems busy with other projects. This also could be referring to a console title, either way I guess we'll find out next month.

Hmmm, guess this is something too look out for, although I'm sure the contents, whatever they may be, will be freely available on the Net in no time at all.

Hmm might be worth picking up for the behind the scenes content. Be interesting to see if its a lot of video footage of 2015 making the game.

Fuck read that wrong, thought it said behind the scenes look at the making of mohaa oOo:

Men of valor is a nam' game that 2015 is making also, looks decent

Bazooka_Joe 01-23-2003 10:18 AM

I'm sure it's referring to the next title, as in the next expansion for Allied Assault. Unless, they decide to produce a new MOH title line. That would be. . .ok I guess.

a new title? come on man that's asking too much. it's easier for EA to just make some half-assed maps and buggy gameplay and box it for $30. spending time actually developing something new and only boxing it for $50 isn't much of a difference.

True, but that statement dosen't really give us more info, you know? (Not your statement, the CD statement). They could have picked up a new developer for their new title, or it could just be another lazy expansion like Spearhead.

I read something about this in a magazine at work the other day. Said it was going to be a "true sequel". they explained this as "not another expansion, but an actual sequel dealing with different aspects of the european war" Also said to watch for it by mid-late 03, just like some1 said above.

newbieassulted 01-23-2003 11:46 AM

true sequel just means maybe a few more guns for the allied side ( so the germans gets f**ked over again,) maybe 2 more campaigns, and a neat looking box.
