My father met him shortly after WWII, and used to have an autographed cartoon up in is trunk of war memrobilla.... I wonder if he still does?

Wow, that sucks man. Like I said before, I really wish I could have a sitdown with a vet and just talk with him about everything that went on then, not just the war, but how america was then too.

Joe, my father didn't really start to tell me about his war experiences until about 2 years ago. Before that all I knew is he was a sargent, fought in the Battle of the Buldge. When he did start to tell me some of the details of the things he did and saw(B0B is close), I realized why he is so against war now... Don't get me wrong he was proud to fight for our country in WWII, he just thinks that we need to find a better way to resolve or differnces.

This was an excellent book. Very forthcoming and frank.
