localization help please
hi for the life of me i cant get this to work...
i put the lines in the localization and save it. then place localization in global and up load to my server. no one of the lines work right i get the motd to work right and ever thing i have in there whats up with this ? server is 11.patch i have the same patch on me.... { "&&& has joined the Allies" "&&& has joined the Fed's" } { "&&& has joined the Axis" "&&& has joined the Mafia" } { "&&& has left the battle" "&&& is running like a school girl all the way home" } { "&&& is preparing for deployment" "&&& is preparing for A long night of drinking At the -={IC}=-Bar" } |

You can't just add the lines to the file, you have to EDIT them. Find those lines and change them. Also, make sure your using the localization.txt from pak6.PK3, not pak0.PK3

your right and that is what i have done. but the lines will not show up !
i made new ones in pak6.PK3, and tryed adding them to localization.txt as well tested out the um azz over and over so im at a loss but i have seen server that did get the lines to work ! |

I have no clue what you might be doing wrong. If you are renting a server, you need to set the file's CHMOD access to 755 over the FTP. I can't think of why else it wouldn't work.
