DSL and MoHAA? What on earth is going with my game!?
 

ok here is the deal.. i got ADSL connection but i cannot connect to any server! i am gameless cry: so????? are there any tweaks for Dsl i can download to fix the problem!? PLEASE HELP!!

What do you mean? Are you getting an error message?

yes i am getting all sorts of error messages all the time....or i see the screen that says "Connecting to server..." for an hour but it still doesnt join!

Darkboy you will get this message if you havent got the `latest` patches installed for mohaa, make sure you grab them and install, otherwise all you will ever get is `server timed out` msgs :>

i got the latest V1.11 patch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just dont know what on earth happening!!! i havent played for like 2 months but now that i am back everything seems to be wrong..!!! i just have ADSL and i cant join any server....so whats wrong if i have the correct version 1.11?

O.k i have cable and also get timed out many times, my ping is realy good once in a game but i used to get kicked for "high ping" however i found this has more to do with my hardware than connection.
Whats worked for me is...when you get timed out bring down the console, type reconnect then enter, 9 times out of 10 it then allows me to connect to server.

ok here is the deal.....i know this "reconnect" trick.. it worked about 2 months ago when i was playing mohaa very often....ok here is what i did half an hour ago....! i uninstalled the game and installed again...and also installled the V1.11 patch...now i dont get error messages.....BUT I STILL GET STUCK AT THE "CONNECTING TO SERVER..." SCREEN cry: cry: cry:

is there something with the "rate" thing i should try?

Make sure you have DSL chosen as your connection type in the MP Options, and try to join servers with the lowest ping possible.

A major connection backbone for the US broke down the other day, and Im not sure if it has been fixed yet. (From what I hear it is) THis may had a part in the issue as well.
