You answerd your own question. Trends.

personally i cant wait for the osama First person shooter, you get to conduct meetings, televise for CNN, fire guns into the air and yell and sit on rugs all day....that should be coming out almost the same time as North Korean Peace Talks 2k3

Can't Wait. biggrin:

Same thing happend when Mohaa came out.

RTCW
Mohaa
BF1942

The trifecta of sales. If one sells well then two more must sell just as well.

Well, I guess they figure if they can push a certain type of game all at one time people will buy it. Then they can move on to a different topic.

Bazooka_Joe 01-30-2003 09:42 AM

This year alone, 35 new war-based games (WWI - Vietnam) are expected to release for the PC.

BF42 is one of the worst WWII games of all time in my books. At the same time it is one of the funniest actions EVER! Instead of trying to figure out why the hell the BAR kicks like the tommy should, why the freaking massive B-17s are pulling off fighter plane moves, why the Russians are packing M-18s, and how one guy is able control a gaint aircraft carrier, you just mock the BS and go with the flow! *gaps for air* This is NOT a WWII game, it's CE: 2...
