Connection rate at 99999 and can't change it...
 

Hi, bit of a problem thats vexing me.....

I can set my connection rate to xDSL (25000) or cable (2000) or any other actually, but the game (SERVER) reads it as 99999.... this is annoying as some servers has a rate setting that kicks out high ones.

But when in the game if I look at my "rate" var it says 25000 or whatever Im connected at.

Also I have checked out my unamedsolidier.cfg and the line is
seta rate "25000" which is correct...

Anyone know why this happens?

25000? You sure? 25000 = about 2.3Mbps.

whats a good speed

Depends on the type of connection you're using.

mine says 2mbit

im clockin' in at 1.1 megabits.

In the console type "rate ____" <---whatever you want there. No seta or setu or set.

No edit button. Gh3y, anyway...im at 2.3 mbits
