a canadian customs question
 

Im planning on buying this gun from the states but i just want to be 100% sure its legal to be sent over the boarder http://www.airgundepot.com/ppks.html , i asked them & after 3 weeks i finally got a responce & they said to check with canadian customs , really helpfull. I cant seem to really find any rules out there that say what kinda of air guns you can & can't have shipped in, has anyone ever bought an air pistol from the states before?

bring it in illegally...hell lately Toronto Ontario has seen a flow of illegal american guns come in....we are gonna end up like Mew York if this shit keeps happening

I might drop by a gun shop to see if they know if its legal or not. i doubt i could get much answers from some dumb blonde at canada customs over the phone

here in the US if I get a gun shipped it has to be to a FFL dealer (federal firearms licence) they charge about 10 to 20 bucks for thier service.We need a permit to buy a BB pistol just like a real pistol. im sure you will get the best answer from a gun dealer in Canada. If it is legal Im sure you will have to have it shipped to the dealer then pick it up there. Im guessing you cant have a BB pistol in Canada though, I may be wrong.

It depends on the state, some you can just have it shipped to your door others you have to do the whole lisencing thing.

Dunno bout Canada, but in the US it depends on which state you live in. In NY, NJ, and CT (connecuit) it's illeagal, but Pennsylvania its not.

Depends how many FPS it shoots at.

I can't remember exactly, but I think if it is over 400 or 700 Feet Per Second, it must be registered and all that crap and you would have a tough time getting it here.

From what it says, its only 295FPS so you should be ok, but it would be best to check with someoe who knows for sure.
