What do you guys think?

Mixed emotions on my part. I love to see the emotion on the court, it's like a drama unfolding at times, but have these guys gone too far? It's very true that we all face some very stressful times in our jobs, and like stated, we can't really take it out on anyone (unless you have a dog, or girlfriend at home evil: ).

Is this violence that we see escalating in our sports world a small representation of what we are starting to see in our society?

No, the type of people that play sports are not the typical members of society.

Most of them are pretty dumb, i.e. Keyshawn Johnson, Dennis Rodman, Allen Iverson... You get the idea.

Last time I checked Jerry Sloan wasn't really considered a thug.

Perhaps the decline is the result of the ever-growing salaries these guys have. When you are worth 35 million bucks or more, what fears of reprisal do you really have?

Jerry Sloan has always been like that. He gets thrown out of games all the time.

NBA i believe has the greatest increase in salaries over the past few years, NFL has the least

I would guess MLB has the largest increase. It don't have no salary cap like the NFL and NBA.

they have increased egos, and being paid so much to play a sport is the major reason why college football is #1

the only people who can play basketball is from the projects. Its not that they're thugs, thats just how they grew up/were raised. and they have more money than they have ever imaged and dont know what to do with it,
