How do i by-pass the intro video?!
 

so.....How do i by-pass the intro video?! what do i do to go directly to the room menu without viewing the video clip after i double click the mohaa shortcut.. well there is something i have to paste in the properties of the shortcut or something else.. anyways... what is there to do? help!

if you need one for AlliedAssault, here is a NoIntro mod I made that will skip it for you. grab the file [url=http://www.geocities.com/mpowell1944/NoIntro.zip:442f0]here[/url:442f0].

*Right-Click and Select 'Save Target As'*

Or, if you don't like deleting stuff left right and centre simply add the following lines to your shortcut.

+set cl_playintro 0 +set ui_skip_eamovie 1 +set ui_skip_titlescreen 1 +set ui_skip_legalscreen 1

If using the default installation folder it'll look like this in the shortcut properties.

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\MOHAA.exe" +set cl_playintro 0 +set ui_skip_eamovie 1 +set ui_skip_titlescreen 1 +set ui_skip_legalscreen 1

actually, all you need is +set cl_playintro 0. his bypasses all scenes and brings you to the main menu.

Thanks for this thread. I just deleted the video clips on my Mac version, and it makes start-up so much smoother.

i think deleting it is easier... theres just notin' like deleting EA's spam, i got good satisfaction out of deleting it.
