Some Desert Combat news!

Went to their website, http://www.desertcombat.com, and was able to read that they have now added a Blackhawk helicopter to the game! The Blackhawk will be able to carry six players total, and has a minigun capable of taking out infantry / light armored vechiles.

I love this mod alot, and I think it's going to do wonders on the BF1942 community.

Too bad the speed of the vehicles/planes turn the once LARGE maps of BF into small easily traversable maps.

True, i reckon they oughta slow them down to the speed of the regular bf vehicles. May not be realistic but its easier than making a load of new maps 2-3 times the size of the regular bf maps.

Eww. . .

Well, the speed of the planes is a little too fast for the current maps of BF1942, yes. Hopefully, if EA releases a damn SDK anytime soon, new maps can be made, and some places like "Saudi Arabia", or "Baghdad" can be made by the team. I think the BF1942 vechiles are fine, so are the DC ones, but the maps need to be bigger.

I still love doing "Apache Cartwheels. . " evil:

You guys gotta remember that you're the one flying the plane. You have control over the speed. Don't use full throttle all the time. Anyways, this is the best mod I ever played, 10/10. ed:

I would have to agree. Without the proper tools, the team was still able to produce an excellent modification. I'd say this is the best work and case of dedication for a mod I've seen by far.
