Well for those of you out there who read my last thread asking questions. Well here it is folks, the Wg-65. Look for some reviews to come. I have a game on the 16th, hopfully it will be here so i can use it for that.
Now i just have to buy the extra bits. Remote, and new pod set up.

I'll let you know how it works.

that looks cool

i want to try paint balling but i dont want to get hurt
ive heard it hurts really bad when your shot

try to get some pics if ya have a digi cam

Miscguy 02-03-2003 12:48 AM

Will do.

It doesnt hurt bad at all. Unless your to close. I shot my brother at 5 feet and he got some really nasty bloody welts. Thats only because he charged me and scared the hell out of me and i instictivly pulled the trigger. I've been shot everywhere on my body, yes even my nuts, and the only time it hurts is when its to close.

You should at least give it a try. It addicting.

Bazooka_Joe 02-03-2003 12:55 AM

You got it for 280? Nice deal!

I'm telling you, those things are great. Kickback is like the real thing, but the firing rate is a little slower. I think those are great, wish I had one. (I only stole the smoke nade from Knox! biggrin: )

Miscguy 02-03-2003 02:44 AM

Yup i practacally stole it from that guy. Its all paid for im just waiting on him to ship it, hopefully he'll do it tomorrow since the cash is in his account. Crossing my fingers for mid next week at the latest, its UPS, not USPS like the page said so it should be pretty fast from CA, to WA.

Doh! Somebody actually bought one of those? At least you got a good deal on it. They look cool, but they shoot like crap, and since there's no aftermarket stuff for them there's no way to make them not shoot like crap.

I got to play with one awhile back, and it was kinda a pain in the ass. Hard to aim because your mask and the stock on the gun will never learn to get along. Good luck with it, though! The n00bz will be swarming ya when you show up to play with one of those.

Cheers,

Panzerman

ive been paintballing for about 3 years. I have faced that gun, and its a beast ed:
my automag 68 classic with a 68ci nitro tank, with a few internal mods, and a smart parts teardrop barrel mwah:

pAt|2i0T 02-03-2003 03:00 PM

my M3 Patriot 0wnz cool:

Graffiti Barrel biggrin:
i get all my paintball stuff free because we are friends with M3 happy:

Yeah i figtured i'd get a swarm of people pestering me on the fields. Though i think your case Panzer was an odd one. 98% of everything i've read has said the marker is great, accurate, with the only downsides of weight and maintainence. Maintainence is just because its more complex than your standard sypider so people whine.

Joe can back me up on this perhaps, but i image firing this weapon will be somewhat firing the M-16 with your pro-mask on. (Gas mask for the layman) There are aftermarket parts coming out for these, but its a small company so i give them so lee-way. Also if you head to there forums with a valid idea or complaint you can talk to the developers. They've tossed out a few idea for tweeks and fixes for people.

So i must go to work and pace. Damn i hate waiting.

Panzerman

Not true. We used em at Fort Knox, and they were more accurate than my Tippman semi.

I know most of those are illeagal, but they make SMG and MG ones like the BAR? thats cool.

Miscguy 02-04-2003 02:06 AM

Well i know most of the field owners so they should let me play. I havnt read anything about someone being turned away because there marker looked to real. As long as it crono's right then they'll let me play. I dont care anyhow, most of the time we just go out in the woods.

I'd like to read some of your source material for them being illigal.
