How the hell do u guys get ur FPS to go higher then 99? I have an awesome vid card and it stops at 99...is there a console command that like lets it go higher? some ppl have told me that there is but i dont know what to do...someone help cuz i just saw a screen of someone with 217 FPS...is it all in the vid card or is it the CPU or other hardware? plz help thx...see ya

for some games it some times it stops at what your refresh rate is set at on your moniter

In console, type com_maxfps 250

dont go any higher than 250. its causes more lag than you would have had originally. odd.

Well how fast would your comp/connection/server have to be to get those high FPS without going through the console?

without using the console command the max you could get no matter how fast of a connection you have would be 99. the console command just unlocks this. from there the sky is the limit.
