Apparently if you got caught using hacks in WC3 you got your CD key disabled and your account reset. Only way to play online after that is to buy another copy :)

Funniest damn thing is reading posts on the battlenet forums (link is on pg2) who swear up and down and sideways they DONT cheat. A guy explains on pg1 how Blizzard caught them cheating. Theres little room there for "mistakes".

Well, it would solve some issues with gaming, but not all of them. Just because people with hacked copies have their CD keys & accounts deactivated, it would only take a phone call and a white lie to start playing again.
