If Tom Hanks' character, Capt. Miller had survived it would have taken away from the film, I think. Upham surviving was the ironic twist.

That site is bollocks. I know a better one thet doesn't waffle on and on about every detail that they go through.

man they made Miller seem alot wierder. Smoking cigars and etc....

Damn that script really sucks, its so campy and cliche....if its real its a good thing they did'nt use it.
