YEAH!!!! That and Bozai buddy are the worst! I didnt install it on my computer, and it slowed my internet down soo much to the point where it took 5 minutes for internet explorer to start up. They dont come with an uninstall feature either so you have to go to search and delete the files.

You should get an anti-spyware program. I had a great one, got rid of Gator, and some other crap, don't remember the name though...Sorry. You'd be best off searching for one on http://www.downloads.com or something.

adaware is amazing
it found stuff that i knew was causing the problem but either i didn't know where it was or when i tried to delete it, it wouldn't let me delete it would screw up some programs i need/like.
after i ran it and let it brutally delete stuff, IEPLORER opened up the moment i clicked the icon
definintly a must have

Heh, I always get a bit nervous just deleting stuff. The last one I had deleted fine, gator was a bitch. I deleted it numerous times and still had parts of it that kept popping up unitl i finally go tsome antispy ware software.

Xupiter! lol that saved a hole crap load of porn sites in my favorites that i didnt want there.

Bazooka_Joe 02-06-2003 09:09 PM

Windows NT, 2000, and XP have a built in pop-up blocker, which Ive added these links to. I have about 300 popups blocked. About 1/3 are popular ones, 1/3 porn ones, the other 1/3 are random. If you want it, lemme know Ill email you the file & instructions.

Does the windows one block scripted pop ups too? Or just the ones you specify?

B. You put in an address, it blocks it. It can block IP's, too.
