Pure mode concerns?

All,

I'm greatly looking forward to the server side mode that will only allow folks with no mods to play. My issue is this: I enjoy playing on new maps and I know that some of those maps have mods within themselves (but not on my client) for spawning objects (like the plane on DM2) or the wall explosion on the Malta map, etc...will this pure mode prevent these? Will it limit us to the bog-standard maps that come with AA and SH?

Blitz, what the Pure Mode is doing is blocking all custom .pk3 files (i think so), so any kind of server-side modification to the stock maps shouldn't cause a conflict. On a side-note, do you know when Pure Mode is due? Thanks.

Whatever files the HOST of the server has (Map fixes, maps, skins, etc) are going to reflect any client. Meaning, whatever the server has, you must have. If you don't you don't play. Anything extra (different skins, guns, etc) will be blocked. That's SV_PURE in therpy.
