Ok help us ignorant people out who know nothing about SDK. What is SDK and what can you do with ?

SDK = Software Development Kit... in most cases this is a way for a company to add support to developers for a certain application. This doesn't always mean a full release of source code, but in most cases it is.

What EA released is being called by most dev's as an LDK, which means Level Design Kit. This is more accurate of what EA released because it's an updated MOHradiant with some great tutorials and documentation.

What people are misunderstanding when they imediately assume that you can't do anything with the LDK, is that the documentation along with the updated radiant is far better than what's already been released. No, this is by far a full SDK, but TCM's will be able to complete so much more with this information then they have already.

And before anyone starts bashing me for what I do and don't know, I'm gathering my information based on what modders have already said in many other threads and conversations. I will openly admit I don't know much about designing maps, but from what I've seen with the documentation, there's plenty to be learned.

So let me get this strait, since we have the sdk you modder guys can now make regular patches for spearhead at least...right?

If it has plugs for 3D Studio Max, I don't see why you can't add to the model. I've done it for Half-Life, Jedi Outcast, and Jedi Knight.
