What is this butt slide I keep seeing?!
 

In several games I've seen players slide on thier butts and shoot. What is that, how is it done and do they need sulfa and a compress bandage after a while?

Seriously, I'd like to know how to do it. Is it a key setup? I can't find anything on the MOHAA Spearhead game setup options to make it a key set.

it is a hi amination from spearhead it is a bug and there is nothing you can do about it or set up to do.

You do it automatically when ever you get shot.

hence why they usually shoot when it happens

In SP, if you shoot a nazi, you'll see them fall on their ass if you don't kill them. EA & 2015 thought hit effects in MP would be good (Which they are right) but this one looks just plain silly.

umm, the "dead" effect really helps the multiplayer environment

Well, like I said, they were looking for an effect to show when a player has been hit (the knockback, the throwoff of aim from being hit, etc.) and this, unfortuneatly, was one of them.

how about a twitch, a scream or a jerk instead of looking like a bad sci-fi movie hake:

Try quake 3 engine.

Play on realism servers and you won't be alive long enough after you GET shot to do a funky buttslide.
