Starbright mod?

I'm not a modder so I couldn't do this, but was wondering if its been done or tried:

During night ops in WWII both sides fired phosphorescent shells in the sky to temporarily light up the night. The light that was given off cast everything in an eerie silvery glow. I was wondering it this mod has been done -a pitch black map (no moon, night, etc) with a starbright floating overhead...

????

That'd be pretty cool!

I haven't heard or seen anything like that so far (prolly due to a lack of SDK).

dunno if it helps but i think i have a MOD somewhere on my computer which i downloaded from this site, it converts the pistol into a flare gun, the shotgun into a grenade launcher (it looks very funny when someone blows themselves up) and it turns the rocket launcher into a sniper rifle which fires rockets eek: you can search this site for it or if u PM me i can try and find it for you on my PC.

It would probably require some sort of weapon to fire a fixed light. The bazooka could do it, I was able to get it to fire a round that had a "glow" on walls and stuff, but I didn't go as far as to try to make it into a flare or anything.
