Found out about reading break the hard way...
 

So, I came to school this morning for Comp Sci 1100, only to find out the hard way, that there is a reading break this week, no classes today or tomorrow oOo: eek:

You think being a collage, they could at least put up a sign or tow reminding students of the reading break!! hake:

Heh, Kwantlen University College, I don't mind the days off, I just wish they would have told me about it BEFORE I made a fool of myself.

yeah me too. We're only supposed to have "dead week" before finals, but that only means no tests that week, we still have lectures cry:

Dead week? that is stupid. To i it sounds like you didn't have to go to school at all!

Wow, so I guess my college is the only one with a reading break, I feel so lucky, heh...

At Syracuse, we have reading days at the end of each semester with finals spread out within them for two weeks. Unless you are on trimesters, I have no idea why you would have them right now.

We had dead week, but some professors never cared. They were above the rules.

One thing I learned when I graduated and moved on into the real world - College professors are the most arrogant, out of touch fools you will ever meet. They are gods within their little world and control your fate, but most couldn't hack it outside of the college atmosphere.

Yep, they get even worse when your in grad school and you have to work for them. My boss would be fired in a day if he ever had a job in the real world.

we call it reading week. everyone was talking about it last week, so i don't know how u never heard about it.
