is there a program that is just for sig making alone? that may be a stupid question but if theres not there oughta be. something a little simpler then photo shop.

i think paint shop pro is easyer as photoshop or maybe you can try paint biggrin:

Dear lord, not Paint. Photoshop really isn't that complicated once you get used to it. You can't expect to be good when you first start off. Actually, even when I was a Photoshop n00b, I never found it to be complicated. I had no idea what some of the stuff did, but with tutorials and experimentation, you can basically figure out a lot of stuff.
