Help with windows/Glass doors and my own windows?

Anyone know how to put a window in a door,I want to make a door made mostly of glass. I know there's a glass clip but it can't be shot out and doesn't have a glare to it so it isn't seen unless it's being shot. And I want to know if anyone know how to make there own window textures so I can make the window I need, Need it to be seen through and shot out. I looked at the canal map and it has door made of almost all glass but can't be shot out. I Tried to put a window in a homemade door but the window don't move with the door. The map site doesn't have anything about putting glass in a door. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This is quite easy. To bind the window to the door, give the door and the window a targetname, and enter this line below your level waittill spawn command in your map .scr file :

$windowtargetname bind $doortargetname

Now the window should move in conjunction with the door. Also, [url=http://users.1st.net/kimberly/Tutorial/customwindows.htm:c374c]here[/url:c374c] is a tutorial on creating your own window textures for the game.

UGH scr.

I don't know anything about scr yet, still doing the basics. But thanks for the help. Maybe one of these times I'll read up on the scr file but not right now. I get lost easy when I have to read to much. I did my own skins one time but I don't understand the shader and the other file. I just used the smile skin and repainted the skins and renamed them all. Well thanks anyway
