Disable winXP ICF?
anyone know how to do this? thanks
|
nope

Start, Settings, Network connections, Right-click your connection, Properties,
Advanced. |
Just to point this out, 90% of the time you will need to disable WinXP Pro's ICF (Internet Connection Firewall) to launch games for others to join.

Yeah I had this problem too. I did DMZ and disabled ICF and it worked fine. But I still cant find a port to foward to fix this. |
no i dont know how

Who the hell locked this topic? It wasn't even asnwered yet. Anyway, for outgoing traffic it uses TCP port 4099, and incoming traffic comes in on TCP port 5190. Make sure both of those ports are open. If you don't know how to do this then let me know.
