Is it possible to demo using these commands...

the commands:

/cg_synchronousclients 1
/record demoname
/cg_synchronousclients 0
/stoprecord

If not, would it be possible for the EA programmers to enable it? If so I think that would greatly improve the promotion of the multiplayer community of MOH thus increase sales. IMHO.

The demo record was another command which was left half finnished..
There is a 'stop record' but no start....

Over @ PMOH there is a thread a EA developer started (apparantly) to help make spearhead better. SO far i have not seen anything suggested in that thread fixed, or even mentioned..

Still is a nice read.

If you want to make MOH-VIES then i suggest you get the program FRAPS
And read the readme on it pharken!
Here is an example of what can be done with FRAPS

I tried Fraps and was incredibly dissapointed. It reduced my performance to 6fps and lower, despite having an above average PC. I understand that my old HD would suffer (only 5400 RPM) but still, this is not practical to play and record yourself.

It'd be ok if you recorded in spectator mode, however.

EA will never add demo options, they aren't that well tuned into this community (or any similar community) to worry about things like that.

When I say tuned in I mean someone who actively improves their games based on customer feedback with a frequency of more than once per game/expansion.

If FRAPS is all that's available then it's a shame. Unless I'm doing something wrong and I shouldn't be getting 6 fps.

Just in case, my system is:

Athlon XP 2000+ (1.67Ghz)
512 DDR PC1200 RAM
Geforce3 64 MB DDR
Gigabyte Mboard (can't remember exact specs but it has 1.4Ghz+ support)
