The real Navy Seals
|
LOL i saw that no the Daily Show a while back
|
they use sea-lions now?
I know for a fact that both the US and USSR experimented with dolphins to combat enemy divers. The US even used some operationally in Vietnam, and the divers/saboteurs got scared shitless when their buddies didn't come back and gave up. I even hear that in some parts of 'Nam people are still afraid to go into the water because of "trained killer dolphin" rumors. |
Why not. The Russians used dogs with time bombs strapped to their backs to combat German tanks.

I remember laughing like crazy when I read it. biggrin: Some other members on the forum are aware of the practice. It wasn't very successful and was abandoned by the Russians. |

Cool site! biggrin:
|
That's just wild. So what do they do against mines and torpedos, human-sheild them? heh
But that's just crazy how they can tag them apart from enemy and friendly. |
They'd strap a bomb to it, then the dog would run under the tanks and blow em' up!
