skinning help
 
ok i need to get my viewsleeves in the game i have the texture made up and i added this to the .shader:

sv_101st_afghanistan_viewsleeves
{
qer_editorimage textures/models/human/sv_101st_afghanistan_viewsleeves.tga
{
map textures/models/human/sv_101st_afghanistan_viewsleeves.tga
rgbGen lightingSpherical
}
}


now what do i add to the .tik?????

ok, i decided to help you before i left...lol

you need to edit the _fps.tik file...

path models/player/US_Army
skelmodel USarmyplyr.skd


surface viewsleeves shader sv_101st_afghanistan_viewsleeves

// right hand
surface triggerhand shader handview

// different left hands
surface lefthand shader handview
surface garandhand shader handview

Just add that one part and ur done...

You need to edit your _fps.tik file. Theres line "surface viewsleeves shader ..." after skelmodel USarmyplyr.skd. Replace the line with:

surface viewsleeves shader sv_101st_afghanistan_viewsleeves
