I've heard it's possible to knock Nazis onto the ground without killing them. Is there any way to push them down other than shooting them?

I believe you can do this by smacking them with your pistol (you do this by preesing secondary fire mode while holding the pistol)

I haven't heard of any other guns that you can smack people with, but i swear in the sp demo that i saw a 101 guy smack a nazi with the BAR.

I have seen this as well. And once a Wehrmacht grunt killed Private Tomlin by wacking him on the head repeatedly with the butt of his Mauser 98K.

i'd love to see a mod where you could use a bayonet or smack things with YOUR rifle.

Yes, enemy AI can definitely melee you with other weapons. I came around a corner in the trench at the end of the SP demo and a german soldier whacked me with the butt of his rifle! I said "ugh", and promptly shot him dead. http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/wink.gif
