well, i dont know how to word this

today myself and ceskins, were "talked" to by a "representative" by the name of EAcomMike.

now, he told us EA was trying to contact us, etc etc they will email us

soon after, this fellow left, and a Feldwebel showed up, notcibly with the exact same host address, and client portion to boot.

so, he left after trying to tell us it wasnt him

just beware of people who arnt really who they are.

we somehow doubted from the start that EA.com people would use a web-based IRC server in Russia?

Sounds rather suspicious to me. You're right to be warning the rest of us, as some unsavory characters have tried this sort of trick before in mIRC chats I've been in before. :|

Russians are quite infamous at this type of thing. Here is what they do
-They find stupid people
-they send said stupid people a phony file, most likely its "nakedbitch.jpg.exe"
-they then hack said stupid persons comp and steal their credit card #'s and Personal info
-they then press a phony credit card and go shopping and/or sell it to other unscrupulous people.

Anyone who has any financial information stored on a comp that is mainly used for online gaming is an idiot IMHO.
