How do you bind lean/strafe to the same key?
 

I've been playing this since it came out now, and have seen players who lean left when they strafe left, and lean right when they strafe right. They manage this while shooting me in the head every time as well :).

I'm not that bad at the game, I do rather well in most servers, but in one particular server there's always 2 guys who beat up on everyone else. I'm not a bad loser, but they refuse to say whether they're "leanbinding" or not. I find it hard to believe that they can press 2 keys together, then another 2, then the first 2 again repeatedly, all while being very accurate at the same time.

My theory is they've bound the strafe left and lean left commands to the same key, and another for moving to the right. How do you do this, and is it looked apon as being unfair, or even "cheating"?

You put this command:
bind a "+leanleft; +moveleft" and visa versa

Its not considerated cheat, it just look stupid when you do it.

i dont think its cheating. i get that on my server . as long as they die like everybody else it dont matter to me what they do. they just look stupid doin it.

Why? Cause its mainly used by lamers who like nothing better than to hammer left and right when theyre being fired at so it makes them a lot harder to hit. oOo:

Ok, I got it working and tried it out.

imho, I found myself dying less. However, I've not tried it in the server I usually play in yet.

Why bind. Configure our keys well and it's not necessary. I don't like binders. Although it prevents RSI to some extent, I suppose. Thus I don't consider it cheating, just quite lame.

i lean so much...if anyone here has played with me, or against me, you'll know that i lean more than anyone you've seen. and it works. yes you die like everyone else, it just recudes that number. but skills are a must...
