Anti-War Protest at my school

Check this out. So today I'm walking to my web design class when a girl walks up to me and asks if I protest the war in Iraq. Why whattya got? She hands me a flyer that says this:

WALK OUTOF SCHOOL!!
Thursday March 20
9:00 AM
PROTEST THE WAR IN IRAQ!!

I think that although I am against war, and that the United States could easily walk into Iraq and take care of business without declaring war, it's gong to happen whether we like it or not. I think the kids at my school are just looking for a way to go home early from school. I was thinking about walking out too, but it would just want more kids to leave. Already I've heard many kids say "Oh Sweet I'll just go home early!"

I think this is stupid as hell. What do you guys think about this.?

It's just an excuse to skip class. Nobody gives a rat's ass.

Colin Powell: Sir, we have intel that a high school in Los Angeles has walked out in protest of the Iraq thing.

Bush: Are you serious, Colin? Sweet God. Call off the invasion, repeat, call off the invasion!!

If it were me, which frankly I really don't give a rats ass whether or not we do go to war, I would say Fuck it, and walk out anyway. Perfect chance to go paintballing fire2:

Yeh I agree Zone, a bunch of lazy kids who just want to skip class...not at all supporting the cause. And even if half the school walked out, would that chang Bush's mind? LOL

The whole anti war protests were summed up for for me after seeing a picture of an 11 year old boy with PEACE and the peace symbol drawn on his chest, and a 14 year old saying "It is wrong that we are going to kill people have done nothing wrong"

He obviously hasnt heard of anything that saddam does to his people.
It is pathetic that kids think they are doing something good by protesting. protesting about something they no nothing about. hake:

Actually I see Bush saying something more along the line of.

"School? I fixed that by screwing the education system in my budget. One thing America doesn't need is educated people that realize that I'm not the Commander and Cheif, I'm really the Liar and Chief."

Exactly. I gurantee by now your principle's already said that if anyone misses school tomm without a death notice or doctor's slip, is suspended.

If you want to see how many are truly dedicated to the 'cause', hold the protest after school.

DeadBolt 03-19-2003 04:00 PM

Yeah I just got home...over the morning announcements on our tv news show, the principal said that there will be NO WALK OUT and that the kid is already in trouble ( the kid who made them ) and that we should show our "voices" in another way, that he said he would help with...lmao

Anyways he didnt mention suspension or anything like that though. LoL.
