Today was it....today was the last straw! It's time we repel the invasion so comenly known as "Snowbirds"! The fuckin out of staters who come here thinking they can do whatever they want!

First thing is their shitacular driving! Today as I was going down a busy road that had a speedlimit of 50 MPH, all three lanes were at the same steady pace of 35 MPH. Left lane was sporting a fashionable Maine license plate. Middle was the all too familiar New Jersey plate and, to the left was a Winscosin plate. Most of you think: "Hey Butters, it's Florida! Old people drive slow too!" not so true. Surprisingly most old people comply with the un-written rules of the road where they drive on the right side, or pull over on a single lane road. It also sucks how people drive down my road, at almost a standstill, looking at houses! ARGH!

Another thing that pisses me totally off is that they think they can run this town! Take Sat night for example. There I am in line at the movies with a couple of freinds. BAM! We get cut in line by none other than some kids from Canada who think they're the mack daddies. I so kindly ask them to, step aside. They give me a smirk and tell me " We were here first!" WTF!?!AHHHH! The people across the street from me are from Ontario. I guess they rent a house down here and come now and again. Low n behold they come rollin up on some BMW's. I suppose they have a son, bought 16-17. He gives me the thug kid stare and it just pisses me off!

I just got home and all I could think about was how horendious the traffic was from these people and how much stuff has sucked...

most of the old folks are from new york, and they go to florida in the winter..good riddence. while your stuggling with them on the road i am driving at 70mph hahaha.

So you would rather pay property taxes than have all those damn tourists pay that inflated sales tax Florida has to make up for it. Face it butters the tourists keep your ecomony alive, if it wasnt for them you might earn less money. dont bite the hand that feeds you

Damn Butters I hear you. Having lived in Florida for 24 yrs im sick of it. They cant drive for shit and the smell like mothballs.

The old shits screw everything up. they live here 6 months out of the year, get on the city council and take away all the fun things like lap dances (lap dances were banned here for about 6 months) and raves. WTF

The snowbirds are notoriously cheap and we could do without them. The part that really bohters me is that they dont really contribute that much to the tax base, yet they are full of suggestions on how we can be more like they were at home.

And us floridians pay plenty of taxes. No state income tax, but everything else is bled dry - gas, sales tax (7%), booze, cigs, motels, etc. - plus lots of local taxes - property, addtional sales tax, fees and assessments, communications, etc.

If all americans traveling out of the country act the same way these northerns act while they are in florida, its no wonder the rest fo the world hates us.

Yeah, butters i can agree with you on this one. I live in Pennsylvania, but I did go down to Miami once for the Orange Bowl in 2002-2003. WOW! There are soooo many fucktards driving from out-of state. and YES, the New Jersey Drivers are the WORST IN THE COUNTRY! My friends and I always count how many driving errors they make when we get behind one on the road. We once counted 39 mistakes in a half hour! They are truely the armpit of the nation.

Actually there are REAL shit drivers here in virginia, worse than NJ, believe me.

I lived there for 3 years, and hated it.

las vegas is a fucking hell hole at about 5pm. people come in with no fricken CLUE how to drive, flip thier car, and we have to wait in 2 hours of dead stops just to get home

Wahhh. 7.75 Sales Tax, ridiculous tax on booze, cigs (might well be highest in the nation), motels, etc...lol - every year Cable prices go up, crap as gas prices and of course State and Fed income tax. Isn't it just PEACHY!

Not to mention a queer ass Govenor (Davis), and a bunch of Celebs who like to march in the horrendous streets of Hollywood, LA and tell us what to think.

I love in Rochester, NY and its really bad here sometimes. Old people drive usually 10-20 miles slower everywhere, all hunched over the damn wheel with their cokebottle glasses. Old people can teach young people soo much but just dont let them drive
