what is FPS

Frames per second. Tells the speed at which your game is running. Can also mean first person shooter.

Put " fps1 " in the console without the parenthesis and if you want to unlock them to go farther than 100,type "com_maxfps 350" in console,no parenthisis. happy:

FPS is also used as short for "first person shooter"

Just make sure you have "Console" checked in your options, or else any commands you type in the console box (~ key) will not work.
