-Due to a great overflow of traffic to the site, they've redirected their host to a new dedicated server for better stability for mass data transfers.
-New model for the US Solider is complete, looks great! [url:529cf]http://www.desertcombat.com/ScreenShots/USSoldier/SoldierRender.jpg[/url:529cf] -Fileplanet.com hosts their new 0.3 Beta Teaser video! You can get it here: [url:529cf]http://www.fileplanet.com/files/120000/121316.shtml[/url:529cf] For those of you who can't wait to download it, here's the highlights: AC-130 Para Jumps - demostrates the new AC-130 with the ability to open a rear cargo door, for papchuting out, dumping TNT, vehicles, etc. Inside of craft is HIGHLY detailed, with padded walls, windows, and computers. SV-25 Frogfoot - The F-16 equivalent jet for the Iraqis. Very quick plane, with excellent bombing abilities. Precision Artillery - From what it looks like, anyone will be able to call artillery, as a medic is seen with binos. The bombings can be placed at a MUCH longer distance, almost the length on the entire map. Black Hawk Helicopter - Massive, like the real thing. It can seat people inside of it, to shoot out of at ground troops. Now, it could only deploy rope ladders. . . evil: M109 Howitzer - The tank destroyer is here! Long range bombing, will make great for artillery calls. Harrier jet - Very nice looking, takes off virtically, like the real thing, very cool! HIND helicopter - the Iraqis have a gunship to go against the Apache. The HIND has 2 pilot positions, and a back bay to seat gunners & troops. Very powerful weapons abilities! PS: TRUSTED AA.COM REGULARS - PM me for a Username/password for FAST downloads! |
