Well if you want a gaming magazine, you have to pay for that as well. I think the problem is we're all so used to getting everything free on the internet (countless demos, gaming reviews,movies, pirated music, etc) that we're all pissed when we have to pay for it.

Now that does suck. The other stuff sucks too, but I was just putting it into context.

Same with Fileplanet and fileshack, have to pay so you dont have to wait in a line.

Fileshack doesn't bother me, sure you have to wait 10 minutes or so, but their downloads are good quality and they have a bunch of demos you can download.

Gamershell gets them first, and they've got many mirrors. They also post screenies and info. Almost like a Gamespot.

You can register for Fileshack.com for a pretty cheap price and you get email and all this other crap, for only $6 a month.

IGN used to be great. Now I only use Gamespot & IGN for release dates and codes.

I pay for it cuz it destroys subscribing to a magazine.
