I had the same problem i tried 2 play the demo in ME the only way i can play the demo is when it starts and u get the screen showing u what everything is hit escape 2 go to the game then i have 2 press the power button quickly the screen turns grey and after a few seconds the game starts and u can then use the mouse.

works for me everytime hope this helps.

I have installed the SP demo but when the game loads I am unable to use the mouse. If I hit Esc and go back to the setup screen I am still unable to get the mouse to work and the only way I can exit the game is to reset the computer. I heard somewhere that there is a problem with the demo & Windows Me.
Can Anybody help!!!

I managed to solve the problem, there seems to be a conflict when the game trys to connect to the internet so I checked the Never dial-up in my internet connections and the demo runs ok

There is a .dll file which tries to connect to the internet even when it's SP. if it does, all you need to do is don't connect, then when the game loads, alt-enter (switch between full-screen to windowed, then back) and it should work fine. Better then clicking never connect, I'd say that's not worth it http://www.alliedassault.com/ubb/smile.gif
