When they say not supported, they mean, if you call their Tech Support line and you tell then you are running NT or Win2k, they'll say 'We don't support it.'
They're not saying it won't run on Win2k, they're saying if it doesn't work, they can't/won't help you. |
I am running Win2k pro and am experiancing "ticks' in textues. When i look in certain directions the textures flash. Its rather annoying...like painkiller is.
I have a GeForce 2 MX400 with the 3.11 driver Any clues? |

I was incorrect. I have driver 23.11 or put by windows... 2.3.1.1
I am perplexed |
I run the demo in W2000 Pro with absolutely no problems whatsoever.
My guess is that part of the reason its not supported is that if someone is going to run a LAN or be connected to a network in some fashion, they are more likely to use 2000, and the tech support doesn't want to risk messing the settings up, trying to get the game to work. |
Me and my friends did a LAN party last week and someone have win2000 and he was ok. No problems ....

I run the demo fine with Win2000, but now I hear that it is not supported in the full version, which wont keep it from working properly, however I wanted to know how many of you are also running 2k and if you are experiencing any problems with the game. Also, your comments on the system requirements if 2k wasnt supported.

I am using Windows 2000 to play the game and Windows 2000 server to run the game.
I can`t imagine why anything would be taken out of the program so Windows 2000 won`t work with the full game. |
