Using a Playstation controller with PC version

Sorry if this is a duplicate, I'm a newbie, yesterday I posted this in the wrong forum...

I have been playing MOH on my PS2 for a year. Over the past year my brain and hands were melded to operating the PS2 controller.
I just got MOH for my new screaming PC, I would like to use my PS2 controller. Can I use a PS2 or PS1 controller with a USB adapter? If so, how/where do I configure in MOH? I'ver purchased the USB adapter and a PS1 controller from Frys...they said it would work...MOH on the PC doesn't see the controller, bummer.

Unfortunately, you're taking for granted that EA would release functioning software, and then support it.

As far as your PS controller issue, I've not heard of it personally. Bazooka_Joe might be able to help next time he checks the forums.

I personally would just learn the keyboard interface. Once you go keyboard, there's no turning back. evil:

Yes, it is possible to use a controller for MOH. It's highly suggested that you don't, but you can try.

As for a PS2 controller, I doubt it. BUT, you may want to look around, as I'm 99% sure there IS a controller that's a gameport/USB that looks almost exactly like a PS controller.

Nice find, d00d. Here's one I found too, supports Dual Shock!

I saw a controller for the PC at this place called Best Buy and its identical to a Playstation controller with the R2 and R1 and everything...you might be able to program all the buttons on MOH for the controller but Im not sure....
