I wonder how they thought about doing a Malta map as Malta was never occupied by Axis forces. Malta was together with Britain, the only European country were Axis forces did not manage to set foot.

Malta also suffered the heaviest bombardment during WWII (expressed as a ratio of (bombs dropped : surface area) )

someone needs to convert malta to aa.. that map pwns

Yes i would really like it on aa.

It's a good map. Sadly, I doubt it'd be easy to directly convert it to AA due to the mortars. It might be possible to reverse it to .map format and edit them out, maybe one day I'll look into it.

If it is of any interest to you guys, the main building in the Malta map (at least from the screenshots I have seen, because I have not played it as yet) seems to be modeled on old Medieval fortifications (of the Knight Hospitalliers - 16th and 17th Century) of which there are a quite a few in Malta.

For a more historically correct approac, it would have been more ideal to adapt to map to attempted amphibious assaults from joint German and Italian forces... with anti-air / anti-naval guns fighting off invasion forces posted on the medieval fortifications.. but that would have not been ideal for MoH gameplay....

Btw I am Maltese so if you have any questions regards Malta in WW2 just shoot and I just might be able to answer!
