Blackhawk Down look really good, Ridley Scott has done it again. Good reviews and a Oscar buzz.
We were Solders - Looks like Braveheart during Vietnam war. Mel Gibson is just taking the Braveheart formula and adopting it to fit a certain time period. First Patriot and now this.
John Woo and WW2 i don't know about that. There will be a lot of slow motion shots of gun fights and flying doves.

I agree with mellowski all these movies are gonna be another "America Glory War" film.... just like saving private ryan and pearl harbour
