I got powerdvd free with my DVD ROM but it sucks: you have to pay for surround sound support. the new WinDVD , it comes with Surround Sound, but at the moment I do not have the funds to pay for it. What is a good DVD player that will support my audigy2 and 6.1 speakers to full potential?

Why not just download one of these from kazaa or whatnot.

ok yeah see I already have powerdvd, and downloading Windvd requires an activation thing which is difficult to rip them off. anything else...

I had WinDVD 2000, it wasn't tough to get. I hate that about PowerDVD, the only way I can get it to use all my speakers is that SPDIF thing, which kind of pops here and there, which sucks. I want to find one that uses all of mine...

yeah, tell me about it, 30 bucks for 6 channel surround sound support, and i already paid 120 for the goddamn sound card....WTF!

just get it off kazaa, thats what i did
